National Library of Bhutan

Most books & pecha published by the National Library of Bhutan can currently only be purchased directly from the NLB. The order form can be downloaded by right-clicking the link below, and saving the file. The file should be printed out, filled in clearly and posted by registered post with a demand draft drawn on a Bhutanese bank for the full payment to:

or the order form may be sent by fax to (+975 XXXXXX) along with with a copy of the confirmation of a SWIFT transfer to our account:

 

As there are currently no arrangements for secure Internet payment services in Bhutan, we can only accept full payment in advance made by Demand Draft or SWIFT transfer. If any items are out of print, the price of these items will be credited towards future purchases. Those wishing to make bulk purchases should contact the National Library directly.

Completing the Order Form

Reference This is the six-character code for an item. It can be found in the description of the item on the shop webpage, e.g. NLB009.

Items without such a code are only available for local purchase at our bookshop.
Item The name of the item, e.g. History of the Drukpa Kagyud School in Bhutan.
Quantity The number of copies required for each item
Unit Price The price of each item, as given in the description of the item on the shop webpage
Total Total cost of all items ordered, before postage and packing

For postal delivery within the SAARC countries, add 15% to the cost of the total order, or add Rs. xxx.00 minimum.

For postal delivery to other Asian countries, add xx% to the cost of the total order, or add $XX.00 minimum.

For postal delivery to European countries, add xx% to the cost of the total order, or add $XX.00 minimum.

For postal delivery to the Americas, add add xx% to the cost of the total order, or add $XX.00 minimum.
